My Story

Hello,

In April 2021, Evie was diagnosed with a brain tumour and tragically lost her battle in March 2022, at the age of thirteen.

I taught music to Evie at St Faith's Prep School for several years. She was great fun to teach, very able at music with a seemingly constant smile on her face. Evie sang in our choir, chamber choir and I also gave her French horn lessons. She left St Faith's in 2019 and it was a privilege to be asked to continue teaching her with video lessons during the covid lockdowns.

The Evie Dove Foundation was set up by her parents, Katie and Howard, and her brother Edward, who also learnt horn with me.

I set myself a personal challenge of riding 5000km this year, so the London to Brighton Cycle Ride is part of that too.

Thanks for your time.
